how do I keep up-to-date with the changes made to a particular page?
If you want to be notified every time changes are made to a particular page, you should click on the this page link of the Start watching options in the lower right hand corner of the page. Here's a picture of what you should see in the lower right hand corner.
For example, if you want to be notified anytime someone edits one of the chapter summaries, just click on the this page link in the lower right hand corner of the respective chapter summary page. If you want to be notified anytime someone makes a change to any page of the wiki, you can select the site ma4140.wikidot.com option, but I do not recommend doing this since you will be getting a lot of emails. Watching this page might be a good idea since then you'll know when one of us adds a new tip.
If you want to keep up-to-date on what is going on in the forum, you can click on the category forum link of the Start watching options in the bottom right hand corner of the main forum page. If you do this, you will receive an email anytime someone posts something to the forum.

how did you do that?
If you are interested in how someone produced something that you've seen in any Wikidot wiki page, you can always view the source, regardless of whether you have permission to edit the page. To view the page source, you should click on the +Options button in the lower right hand corner of the page. Then select Page Source.
I'm interested in making my own wiki, how do I get started?
Getting started is pretty easy. First, make sure that you are logged in with your Wikidot account (you can tell if you are logged in by looking at the top right hand corner of the page). If you are not logged in, log in now. Next, click on the Wikidot logo in the upper lefthand corner of the page. This will take you to the Wikidot home page. Look for the link titled Get it now! and click on it. In the box above the link you just clicked, you should replace your-wiki with whatever you want the initial address of your page to be (for example, the initial address for our class wiki is ma4140). After you have picked a suitable name, you should click on the red Get it now! button immediately to the right. If the name you entered is already taken, you can try a new one. Once you have a suitable name, you need to make some choices about what you want the site's title to be, its tagline, the default language (English or Polish), and whether you want the site to be open, closed, or private (our wiki is closed, but viewable by all). That's pretty much it. If you want to start futzing around with the layout, color, etc. you'll have to play around with the Site Manager. You can always get help by taking a look at the Wikidot documentation pages.
